FOOD AND RANDOM OTHER THINGS
Over the years I have had many kids and teenager eat from my kitchen. Occasionally, I get a random message from one of those long lost kids who grew up and had a craving for something they ate at my house. Here, I will post and be happy to share any recipe I have. The first and most popular item has to me my Monster Cookies. I don't have my Mac & Cheese written down anywhere...I just make it. So, for that one I will have to make it and pay attention as I do. Have fun making my family favorites!

MAMA CINDY'S MONSTER COOKIES
(full) In a 30 Qt. mixing bowl add:
18 eggs
5 cups white sugar
2 lbs brown sugar
6 Lbs peanut butter
1 pound of salted butter (soft)
1/2 cup molasses * (key ingredient)

Mix with hand mixer
*(Make sure the butter is soft but don't put it in the microwave.)

Once that is mixed add:
2 tlbs baking soda
2 round canasters of Old Fashion Oats
4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 cups M&M's

Mix by hand until there are no dry pockets.
*(Tip: slide your freshly washed hands down the sides of the bowl and cut up through the center. Have a helper rotating the bowl for you and do the same thing over and over until the dry ingredients are fully incorporated.

*(There is NO flower and NO vanilla in this recipe. That is a common question!)

Preheat oven to o350
Cook 11 minutes (Until the tops start to brown.)

For traditional cookies,: Use a 1/2 cup measuring cup, place 8 big balls on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam.
For Monster Balls: Use an ice cream scoop.

Spray between each new batch. You will need a lot of countertop and 6 cookie sheets. Let each pan cool until the sheet is cool, allow about 20 minutes. once you can handle the tray by hand, move the cookies over to wax paper for an additional 20 minutes.

Half Batch:
9 eggs
2 1/2 cup white sugar
1 Lb bag brown sugar
3 Lbs peanut butter
2 sticks salted butter (soft)
1/4 cup molasses

* Mix in large mixer or with hand mixer.
*If you have used a counter top mixer, pour into a 30 Qt bowl and add dry ingredients on top.

Add:
1 tlbs baking soda
1 round canasters of Old Fashion Oats
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups M&M's

Mixing and baking steps are the same as above. You can cut this recipe down again, and even down from that. I have made one cookie before using 1 egg. These cookies are so good and a family tradition for sure. Have fun!
